Alternatives to the ball in Mindful Grip
You can try Mindful Grip with any small object that fits in your hand.
For instance, somebody experimented with using a pair of socks:
I used a pair of rolled up socks (clean of course).
I squeezed, counting to 5 and alternated 12 times ( or whatever times table would add up to 60 seconds).
I liked the texture of the socks and the heat and the feeling of strength while squeezing and knowing this was just a short but allowable "break".
It seems so silly-simple which makes me smile and is another good thing.
Or just crumple paper into a ball:
