If the question were just “What does it mean to be human?”, it might seem to invite an intellectual inquiry. Nothing wrong with that, but this is not the context here. Our context is the pause: A question that doesn’t have an automatic answer is an invitation to pause and reflect. An invitation to check inside, to sense what emerges, and to explore what comes up.
Part of what is exciting and stimulating about this topic is that there are there are so many ways to approach it. I am inviting all of you to share what comes up for you about it. Please share what comes up for you via the feedback form.
Note: “Being human, just human” is the theme of the 2019 International Focusing Conference.
